Why Use UGR<19 Diffuser Sheet?

USING PRISMATIC SHEETS AND FILMS FOR UGR<19

Most of the premium UGR<19 compliant LED panels have an opal light effect. That is achieved by combining a translucent or semi opal film with a solid prismatic sheet.

While the clear prismatic sheet will control the beam angle to reduce the glare, the film will hide the LED hotspots. The overall effect is a smooth and uniform light output.

We supply both components. The pairing could be by mechanical means or in few cases the films are bonded to the prismatic sheet. In the case of LED panels with Light Guide Plates (LGP), the film is not bonded to the prismatic sheet because the plastic components like the reflective film, the LGP, opto film and the prismatic sheet are tight enough by the frame and the assembly method of such panels.

For back-lit and edge-lit luminaires UGR<19

►Well-defined lamp direction with average beam angle 85 degree helps to improve the light efficiency and glare reduction.

Uniform glare reduction in all C-levels, excellent for workstations compliant with the European Union regulation for office lighting.

►The pyramid pattern allows an excellent light-brilliance and homogeneous glare reduction.

►Renders confortable lighting in the working environment.

►It can achieve UGR values <19, endwise & crosswise.
